The groundwater percentile is the percentage of groundwater level measurements that exceed the low end of the range but fall below the high end of the range for the month in which the most recent measurement was made. For example, a percentile of 90 to 100% for a well in which the most recent groundwater level measurement was made in January indicates that the groundwater level at that well exceeds 90% of the measurements that have ever been made at that well during the month of January.
