Boaters will have a new guide to help them enjoy the Mad River this summer. A Mad River recreation guide will be introduced as prat of the 2006 Play It Safe! campaign

The Miami Conservancy District's renovation of its office building will receive a Preservation Merit Award from the Ohio Historic Preservation Office in October.
