The Great Miami River Bikeway
The Great Miami River Bikeway in Miami County features bikeway segments in Piqua, Troy, Tipp City and Concord/Monroe Township. R
iders can travel from Piqua south through Troy, Tipp City, Dayton, West Carrollton, Miamisburg and to the southern tip of Franklin for a total of 63 uninterrupted miles through three counties.

The bikeway links parks, historic sites and the river corridor with communities and provides an excellent venue for exercise, family fun and enjoyment.

Along the bikeway, users will encounter a number of points of interest, including:

  • Canal Lock Park in Tipp City
  • Eldean Covered Bridge – built in 1860; the only covered bridge in Miami County
  • Atomic Power Plant in Piqua – the first municipally-owned nuclear plant in the country.

The bikeways in Miami County are managed by the cities of Piqua, Troy, Tipp City and the Miami County Park District.
