The Great Miami River Bikeway
The Great Miami River Bikeway in Miami County features bikeway segments in Piqua, Troy, Tipp City and Concord/Monroe Township. By summer of 2014, riders can travel from Piqua to Tipp City without interruption.
The bikeway then continues from Tipp City south through Dayton to Franklin.

The bikeway links parks, historic sites and the river corridor with communities and provides an excellent venue for exercise, family fun and enjoyment.

Along the bikeway, users will encounter a number of points of interest, including:

  • Canal Lock Park in Tipp City
  • Eldean Covered Bridge – built in 1860; the only covered bridge in Miami County
  • Atomic Power Plant in Piqua – the first municipally-owned nuclear plant in the country.
